In the years following the adventures I wrote about in The PayPal Wars, PayPal alumni have gone on to do many incredible things. As I told Forbes.com back in 2006, the brain drain at PayPal was eBay’s loss, but the world’s gain.
It’s humbling to consider the accomplishments of my former colleagues, whom the media have dubbed the “PayPal Mafia.” If you doubt that I worked alongside some of the most talented people ever assembled in Silicon Valley, take a look at the list below. These are just a few of the companies and organizations started or run by former-PayPalians.
